The meme says if you’ve seen over 85 films, you have no life.

    I am not surprised.

Mark the ones you’ve seen. There are 239 films on this list.
    Lots of movies )

Feel free to make suggestions of movies I should watch which I haven't yet.

    Brief update
I've not posted in quite some time, but what the heck, I'll make a quickie.

Six things I learned this Thanksgiving weekend:

    1. I really miss my mom's cooking
    2. I will probably stick with the clean shaven look for at least a while
    3. My family cannot make it through a board game without incident
    4. McDonald's caramel iced coffee is a new candidate for most vile thing to ever pass between my lips
    5. Traffic on the way back to Charleston gets much better when there are severe thunderstorm and tornado watches in effect
    6. I have a serious Blu-ray spending problem, which is exacerbated by crazy sales

Six things I am thankful for:

    1. My family, even as difficult as they are sometimes
    2. My condo, it feels like home and I am very proud of it
    3. Online Black Friday sales, without which I would be living out of a cardboard box
    4. Friends who have stuck with me from prior lives, thank you
    5. Music, a 5 hour drive is much more bearable when I can sing throughout most of it
    6. My job, which I genuinely enjoy and look forward to
7 (Bonus): A fantastic 45-42 Georgia Tech win over U(sic)GA!!!!

I'll try to post more often. Love to all!

    These are pretty cool too
    http://www.boingboing.net/2008/09/18/obama-bumperstickers.html

The SC one is awesome. I almost want to get it, not for my car but for my fridge or something. SC blue is almost the same color as my car and I think it would look bad. (Besides, it's freaking SC, I'm not going to be changing anyone's mind with a bumper sticker around here, lol)

    This is absolutely awesome:

    Gas had its chance
I vowed not to bitch about gas prices until I had to pay over $50 for a tank. It came close a couple times, once it was even $49.92.

Tonight a tank of gas cost me $50.50.

This is me bitching about gas prices. BAH.

    WTF!?!?!
    http://extralife.sarcasticgamer.com/

This is really pissing me off!!! Did they just copy our idea or is this pure coincidence? Either way I'm mad we're not getting any credit at all!!

At least it's still a good cause...

    If this is true...
...then it is made of awesomeness and win.

Depp would be the perfect Edward Nigma, now hopefully they remember to showcase his genius instead of Carrey's "look mom, I'm ridiculously bonkers" rendition.

This comic, although it is from 2001, resonates quite well even today:

    For Megan
Apparently there is a massively multi-player online video game (MMO, think World of Warcraft) in the works based on the Buffy universe:

Will Megan start playing video games? :o

    Hanna, Schmana
Hanna was a joke. Thanks, jerk, for spoiling my weekend plans and not even having the common courtesy of making lightning and thunder.

    Roll Call!
I was bored and waiting for sunset to roll around so I took inventory of the actors in the movies I currently own. For the purposes of this roll call I excluded actors who only appeared in one series of movies (for example, Johnny Depp was left out because he's just in all three Pirates movies, Ben Affleck's not here because he's in two of the Kevin Smith movies and nothing else), and I'm listing actors which appear in 2 or more movies.

    Roll call!! )

Next time you play "Seven Degrees of Separation" and you win, no need to thank me. :)

    V? Really?
Megan was doing a meme, and I foolishly fell into her trap and offered to list 10 things I like which start with a letter. Megan kindly gave me the letter V. Here goes nothing.

    1. Voltage. Without electricity all my favorite toys would not work.
    2. Vivaldi. His music rocks. I need some of it on a SA-CD.
    3. Visitors. Things are infinitely more fun when they are around.
    4. Vowels. If it weren't for vowels my name would be Mstf.
    5. Video games. This one should have been obvious from the get-go.
    6. Vacations. I love my job, but I love sleeping in even more.
    7. Veal. Who cares if you're eating kids, they taste good.
    8. Velociraptors. Don't mess with them or you will be sorry.
    9. Venn diagrams. They make understanding things fun and easy.
    10. Velcro. Seriously, who doesn't like Velcro?

Any takers? Comment and I'll give you a letter.

    Blu-ray answers
Since everyone fails at guessing my quotes, here's the answers to the remaining movies from a couple weeks ago:

    3. "I'm sorry, my dear. You're not one of us anymore."
X-Men: The Last Stand (aka X-men 3) - Mystique is shot with a cure dart and becomes human, Magneto leaves her for dead.

    4. "Yeah, Zeus! As in, father of Apollo? Mt. Olympus? Don't fuck with me or I'll shove a lightning bolt up your ass? Zeus! You got a problem with that?"
Die Hard With a Vengeance - Samuel L. Jackson gives a bombastic introduction.

    10. "I just wanted the pleasure of doing that myself!"
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - Elizabeth cracks Norrington over the head with a bottle after a kerfuffle in Tortuga.

    14. "You know, I guess one person really can make a difference."
Spider-man 3 - Stan Lee leaves his mark on the movie.

    24. "Bullshit. I bet you could suck a golf ball through a garden hose."
Full Metal Jacket - The Drill Sergeant harasses recruits on day one at Parris Island.
